Gangsta Translation: Maybe I shouldn't have released this...
The Game is one of those rappers I've never really understood. I was kinda feeling him when he first came out with 50 Cent, but I was kind of turned off by his rapping style (unlimited name dropping) and what seems to be his desire for controversy. I still try to give dude a chance, especially since he seemed to have grown up and put all of his beef behind him.
Key word: seemed
Yesterday, Game released a diss track called Uncle Otis in response to Jay-Z and Kanye's new Watch the Throne track. He also takes the time to diss everyone and their mama, including Kreayshawn, Big Sean, and Tyler, The Creator.
I honestly think Game is either bipolar or trying to commit career suicide. He takes shot at almost everyone in the industry, after stating numerous times that he's over beefing with other rappers. He notably tweeted Tyler, The Creator and encouraged him to stop his Twitter feud with Chris Brown and also admitted that he lost a best friend because of beef. Featured on the DJ Khaled CD We the Best Forever, which was released last Tuesday, Game raps "Fuck beef, nigga I ain't got the energy," on the track Sleep When I'm Gone.
Maybe he's just sad that his album STILL hasn't been released.
Listen to the track below and let me know what you think.
