Stop The Madness: A Word From Marvin Gaye

Gangsta Translation:
-___-

The late and great Marvin Gaye is a legend whose career left the world with timeless music for us to make babies and/or protest injustice.  I'm sure I speak for us all when I say that I wish he were still around to have continued to bless us with his talent.

That being said...

...Get the F$*^ OUT HIS ROOM!!!

When Drake's "Marvin's Room" (titled as such because it was recorded in Marvin Gaye's legendary studio) was released online, I was excited to hear new music from Drake and relate to his drunken confessions.  Literally, within 24 hours, came the wave of artists remaking the song. First JoJo, then Teyanna Taylor, then Chris Brown covered the song.  Even Willie from Day 26 put out a remix.  Come on, man! Homie should be wondering why his Day 26 bandmate Brian still has the nerve to have cornrows on his head.  Even Jhené Aiko and Weezy have released versions.

All I'm saying is, Marvin Gaye authorized Drake to go in his room, and now when Marvin gets back, he's gonna be missing his gold chain, 2 dollars, and handmade beanie.  So please, artists, NO MORE.  Stop going to Marvin's Room.  Please just make your own music or, at the very least, just choose another song like I did.
