Akon's been a little quiet on the music side of things since he's been busy handling business and wearing T-Pain around his wrist and Gaga around his neck. Now Akon's back to prove that he still has what it takes to be a successful artist with his new mixtape Konkrete Jungle.
Like it or not, Ca$h Out's single "Cashin' Out" is one of the biggest singles of the year. Of course he had to have a mega remix for it! Joining him on 2.0 is Akon, Young Jeezy, Fabolous and Yo Gotti with some braggadocious verses to extend the radio life of the track.

Akon took to 106 & Park last night to premiere the video to "Hurt Somebody," the lead single from his forthcoming album Stadium. The track features his former artist French Montana, and the purpose of the video is to promote non gun violence. I'm with you, Akon. I've been meaning to post this Verse Simmonds video for a while, but with A3C and everything else it completely slipped my mind. The Atlanta Konvict recording artist has been hard at work for some time now, and I'm glad to see that he's getting national exposure with his song "Boo Thang" with Kelly Rowland.
