[Album Stream] 'The Great Gatsby Soundtrack' (ft. Jay-Z's "$100 Bill")

Executive produced by Jay-Z, The Great Gatsby original soundtrack is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. NPR yet again scores the first listen, which you can stream HERE.

Featured on the soundtrack are Jay-Z (who open the project with "$100 Bill"), Andre 3000 & Beyoncé, Lana Del Rey, Will.i.am and more.


The Great Gatsby original soundtrack is set to hit stores on May 7. The film premieres in theaters on May 10.

Soundtracks have fallen off over the years, but the musical counterpart to the upcoming film The Great Gatsby has a lot of mouths watering. Thanks in part to contributions from Jay-Z and Lana Del Rey, the most anticipated record on the soundtrack is undoubtedly Beyoncé and Andre 3000's cover of the Amy Winehouse classic "Back To Black."

Yesterday, he revealed the track the hip hop heads have been waiting for: "Sorry" featuring Andre 3000. T.I. drops some nice sixteens over the Jazze Pha production laced with Stacy Barthe's vocals, but it's no surprise who took the spotlight on this one. The Andre 3000 x Jay-Z collab was the song from Thug Motivation 103 that I was most excited to. Thankfully, the full track was premiered by Funkmaster Flex this morning and there's no more hype necessary.  Jeezy and Hov jumped on the 2010 Andre 3000 leak and killed it.

I was just talking on Twitter how I think Lloyd's album King of Hearts hasn't been getting much promotion lately.  It may not be his best effort, but there are some solid tracks on the album.  The fact that he has a hard to get Andre 3000 feature should be fuel enough to check it out.
