Shawn Chrystopher - lovestory. [New Mixtape]

I've been vibing to this so much this morning, I've hardly been able to get any work done. Cali bred emcee Shawn Chrystopher delivers easily one of the best tapes of the year so far with lovestory., a project which features the likes of GLC, Dom Kennedy, Phil Adé, and more.

Don't believe me? Just take a listen.

Dom Kennedy has a lot of people holding their breath until 8 PM ET when he drops his free Yellow Album. Here's a small supply of oxygen, as Dom drops the visuals to my sh*t, "My Type Of Party."

Not only did Dom Kennedy bust a smooth freestyle when he stopped by DJ Skee's Hip Hop Nation radio show, but he also gave a quick in studio performance of his new single "My Type Of Party."

Dom Kennedy stopped by the Skee Lodge to promote his new single "My Type Of Party," and he made sure to leave a few bars behind before exiting the premises. Smooth stuff right here.

Dom Kennedy - My Type Of Party (Prod. by DJ DAHI)

This beat is sick.

Dom Kennedy is always smooth on his records, but his new single "My Type Of Party" takes the cake. If the rest of Yellow Album is this legit, I'm buying that.

Dom Kennedy Performs "Grindin'" Live [VIDEO]

Dom Kennedy kicked off his This Is Dom Kennedy Tour live in Atlanta a few days ago, and he's got a huge following there.  I saw him live in ATL with Kendrick Lamar and I was in awe of how much support he has in the south. Watch below as he performs "Grindin'," one of the crowd favorites.

Rick Ross May Sign Emilio Rojas & Dom Kennedy to MMG [VIDEO]

Rick Ross has got his eye on a few of today's most talent free agents, and I'm the first to admit that I have been impressed with the Bawse's Maybach Music signings thus far.  Pretty soon, West Coast spitter Dom Kennedy and New York emcee Emilio Rojas might be calling MMG home.  Let's see what Ross has to say about the rumors!

No huge announcement yet, but I guess time will tell. If MMG doesn't scoop them up, they'll be just fine.

Planet VI (Formerly Rock City) - American Dream [New Mixtape]

Brothers Timothy and Teron Thomas who are the minds behind hits like Rihanna's "Man Down," Mario's "Music For Love," and The Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up," are renewing their position as artists under the new moniker Planet VI.  Formerly known as Rock City, the duo finally cut ties with Akon's Konvict Records/Interscope after years of frustrations with the label.

To give Planet VI a proper introduction, the Virgin Islands representers just dropped the brand new mixtape The American Dream that includes production from Boi-1da and Tha Bizness, and features artists including Bei Maejor, 2 Chainz, Dom Kennedy, Chase N. Ca$he, and more.  Stream/download the mixtape below, and get used to hearing Planet VI more often because they're not going anywhere!

Dom Kennedy Performs "Grind'n" LIVE In ATL!!

Call me ignorant, but I didn't know Dom Kennedy had just a big of a following as Kendrick Lamar. The crowd was spitting all of Dom's songs word for word during his set at Atlanta's Back In Session concert, and he had everyone who wasn't too familiar rocking anyway.

Check out his performance of From The Westside, With Love track, "Grind'n," below. I apologize for the video quality. I was wildin' in the crowd and filming at the same time!
