Nowadays, you can write raps to someone else's beat and it's considered a freestyle and it seems like the art of improvisational, off-the-top rhyming is slowly fading away. Karmaloop is hoping to bring pure freestyling back to the forefront with their #FriendsWithWords series, in which they give a rapper 12 words to include in an on-the-spot freestyle.
