Janelle Monae ft. Miguel - "Primetime"

After revealing the upbeat yet socially aware singles "Q.U.E.E.N." and "Dance Apocalyptic," Janelle Monae reveals a smoother side of her forthcoming album The Electric Lady with the Miguel duet "Primetime."  As two artists who are highly influenced and in awe of Prince, I'm almost sure this is a track he'd be proud of.

DJ Hourglass - Think Outside The Clock, Vol. 2 [New Mix]

Vol. 1 received a ton of love from you all, so I made sure to spend even more working on "Think Outside The Clock, Vol. 2." Just like the first installment, Vol. 2 is mostly comprised of remixes from my favorite DJs and producers, but this one is more representative of my experience in the Atlanta club scene. It also features an impromptu live remix of Jhené Aiko's "Stranger" by yours truly.

[Video] Miguel Adds Wrestler To His Resume At The 2013 Billboard Music Awards

Last night's Billboard Music Awards were full of noteworthy moments, but Miguel found a way to become the most talked about musician at the ball. During a performance of his smash single (pun success!) "Adorn," Miguel took out a pair of fans while attempting to jump from one area of the stage to another.

Miguel's album Kaleidoscope Dream may have been "overshadowed" by Frank Ocean, but it looks like he's doing more than alright as he hit Saturday Night Live last weekend to perform his hits "Adorn" and "How Many Drinks."

On October 2nd, Miguel's second LP Kaleidoscope Dream will hit stores, but first, he will digitally release two "preview" EPs on iTunes to introduce us to new songs from his sophomore  effort.

The first EP, Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview is set to hit iTunes on July 31st while the second, Kaleidoscope Dream: The Air Preview is set for release on September 11th.
