[New Mixtape] Skewby - 'Wishful Thinking'

It's been a while since Memphis emcee Skewby came through with a project, and now couldn't be a better time. If you're in need of something refreshing to get you through the Monday blues, hit play and spread the word about Wishful Thinking.

Production comes from Skewby himself, Mindlabs, Thelonius Martin, and Charlie White. Skewby also rhymes over borrowed tracks from Black Milk, Tae Beast and Like.

I'm not the type of girl who likes to admit that I let a dope emcee slip my radar, but I had to swallow my pride when I saw Skewby's video to "Eleven 58" on MTV RapFix Live. As part of the show's "Get In The Game" segment, The-Dream gave him nothing but props for his confidence and lyrical ability and didn't really have any suggestions but for him to keep at it.
