Loot is described as goods, however, it is also the action of stealing or taking away. The pros and cons of this title helps illustrate this certain track, allowing the listener to "decipher the cypher."

"Originally I wasn't going to have any features on Savage Journey to the American Dream, which is why I gave Curren$y a shout in my first verse," explains Stalley. "But in the final weeks leading up to the release, I decided that because I liked the project so much, I might as well add a few choice features to make the project even bigger. So I was down in Atlanta in the studio and Spitta came through. One day we may have to do a whole project together."
