A fresh leg of Drake's Club Paradise Tour kicked off yesterday in Concord, CA and included live performances from Lil Wayne, French Montana, and more. The highlights of the opening night, however, were Drake and 2 Chainz's first performance of "No Lie," and when The Weeknd joined Drake onstage to perform "Crew Love."

The Weeknd's House of Balloons and Echoes of Silence are still two of my favorite albums to listen to, but whenever I want to play one of his tracks when I'm at a gig, I usually pull it from my set list or wait until the end of the party because the songs have such a melancholy vibe to them.  Thankfully Brooklyn producer Chi Duly has given House of Balloons and Echoes Of Silence new life by reworking the mixtapes on his new project BalloonsOfHaus. My hero!

Got Beef? The Weeknd Has Drake's Back

Uh oh! Looks like The Weeknd has inserted himself into his first rap beef! The Toronto crooner took to Twitter yesterday after Common released his "Stay Schemin'" remix dissing Drake with no sort of remorse saying:

I personally think it was a great diss track (although I'm not too sure why Common's putting so much energy into this anyway), but I understand that the Weeknd's just taking up for his homie.

In other news, The Weeknd has been announced as part of the lineup for this year's Coachella music festival.  Check out the entire schedule HERE!
