Janelle Monae - "Dance Apocalyptic"
Along with today's announcement that The Electric Lady will hit stores on September 10th, Janelle Monae premiered the album's second single, "Dance Apocalyptic." Once you hit play, the title strangely makes total sense...
Stream "Dance Apocalyptic" below, which playfully borrows a line from...wait for it.... Juicy J, and hit the jump to watch the trailer for the video coming July 2!

[Video] Janelle Monae Covers Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" With The Roots On Jimmy Fallon
There aren't many musicians in the industry right now one can trust to honorably cover a Jimi Hendrix classic, but Janelle Monae and The Roots are just the people for the job. Paying tribute to the late guitarist's legendary catalogue, Janelle takes on "Little Wing" alongside Questlove, the rest of the band, and her guitarist Kellindo who channeled the spirit of Hendrix and completely SHOWED OUT.

Roman GianArthur - "I-69"
I've been looking for a studio version of "I-69" since I saw Roman GianArthur perform it at Poor Little Rich Girl's Supreme Music Sessions, and although I'm a month late, here it is!
Roman, just one of the Wondaland Arts Society's many talents, is the man behind Janelle Monae's Archandroid overtures and the album closer "BabopbyeYa." Now, Roman has placed his focus on his own project which features the infectious "I-69," a track that has been spreading like wildfire due to the reception of his opening performances for Solange and Bilal's latest shows in Atlanta.
Hit play to be formally introduced to the soulful realm of Roman GianArthur, and be sure to buy "I-69" on iTunes if you like what you hear!

[Video] Solange Knowles Performs "Losing You" Live With Janelle Monae & Wondaland
Last Thursday, Solange Knowles brought new material from her True EP live to the Masquerade in Atlanta, and surprised everyone by bringing out Janelle Monae and the rest of the Wondaland Arts Society to jam out to her hit "Losing You."
If you're cursing at yourself like me for missing such a great show, be sure to catch a live performance while you can!
