Thank You YouTube for...Affion Crockett
Most of you recognize Affion Crockett from the Wack Cannon show Wild'n Out, but he's doing his own thing now and he's making major moves. The fellow NC native has been making people laugh through his YouTube videos and tweets, but come next Sunday 8/14, he will be broadening his audience with his own television show.
Watch a promo for the show below as he raps as Jay-Z, Kanye, Lil Wayne, and Cory Gunz and then tune into Fox at 9/8 central next Sunday to watch In the Flow.
The Weezy verse makes me think of Shawt Bus Shawty: Reloaded so catch it after the jump.
Watch the Throne: Trailers
Watch the Throne drops tonight at midnight, and over the past 2 days the dynamic duo known now as The Throne have released two trailers promoting the album.
It looks like that was taken from the SXSW performance of H.A.M. Watch it here!

Watch the Throne Edition (Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 4)
WATCH THE THRONE!!!!!!
Since Watch The Throne will be released online in a few days on August 8 and in stores on August 12, I have to dedicate Gangstas Use Emoticons Radio, Vol. 4 to this momentous occasion in hip hop. No matter how you feel about either Jay-Z or Kanye, I'm pretty sure you're going to listen to Watch the Throne when it drops. It's been the most anticipated collaboration album of the year.
This mix is an hour long journey through their collabos, features, and solo classics. Showcasing Hov and Ye from Reasonable Doubt/The College Dropout to the present, you're in for a mix that, at times, will have you sitting in deep thought, reciting lyrics, and slappin' snapbacks off.
Listen/DL below and hit the jump for a full tracklisting. It's only an hour so maybe I'll do a Part 2 when Watch the Throne goes platinum or something.

New Music: Yelawolf "Hard White" f/ Lil' Jon
Yelawolf has been keeping a pretty low profile since he was signed by Eminem to Aftermath because he's been preparing his studio album. I'm a really big fan of the Alabama native and I hope this album comes as hard as Trunk Muzik.
"Hard White" is his official first single from the album and it features Lil' Jon. At first listen, I was feeling it, and I think most Yelawolf fans will like it. I also hope it works for the mainstream, so we can bring the quality artists like him to the forefront.

Gangstas, have I got a treat for you. GUE Radio is coming correct in time for Watch the Throne. In honor of the album dropping in less than a week (August 8), I put together an hour long mix of some of my favorite Hov & 'Ye collabos, solo tracks, and features. I put a lot of time in it, and I hope you'll love it.

New Music: Jay Rock x Kendrick Lamar x Yo Gotti x Waka Flocka
I'm slappin' snapbacks off again!!
I saw this link on a RT by BJ The Chicago Kid, and I'm glad. I wish I had this song on my iPod for my road trip but I'm still gonna be playing this one in the Civic. I like hearing artists like Kendrick Lamar and Jay Rock work with artists like Yo Gotti and Waka Flocka--it unifies rap for me when it's done right.
I'm definitely gonna be doing my St. Louis club 2 step to this for weeks to come. Listen/DL below.

Jay-Z Surprise Interview with Hot 97
I was checking out Miss Info's blog today and saw that Jay-Z surprised Angie Martinez and Hot 97 to give an interview. They discussed a lot of interesting topics like rumors that he and Kanye fought during recording Watch The Throne, the stages that the two went through while making the album, and Jay-Z's feelings on Beanie Sigel.
Listen to the audio of the interview here at Miss Info.
New Music: Bridget Kelly: Thinkin' Bout You
Sooooo last week, I posted new music from Frank Ocean called "Thinkin' Bout You." Turns out that it was a reference track for Roc Nation's first lady, Bridget Kelly. For me, she's best known for singing "In Newwwwwwww Yooooooooooork" as the sub for Alicia Keys. Her voice definitely does the Ocean-penned track justice.

Alright, I'm about to drive 10 hours to Atlanta so I'll catch y'all on the flipside. Stay G. Use emoticons.
