Dawn Richard - Love Won't Lose
Dawn Richard has blown me away since her days on Making the Band. Her voice is impeccable, and her story is even more amazing. From Hurricane Katrina survivor to Dirty Money co-star, Dawn has always shined. Now she's working on her debut solo album Golden Hearts, and has decided to release the new single "Love Won't Lose" to hold us over until her first single drops later this Fall.
Listen to the Rob Holladay produed track below, and here's a LATE PASS download to her latest mixtape, A Tell Tale Heart.

TiRon & Ayomari's A Sucker For Pumps drops tomorrow on iTunes. Ayomari "got inspired" and decided to leak the track "All My Love" f/ Yummy Bingham via Tumblr. It's probably been since high school since I've heard about Yummy Bingham. Glad to see that she's back.

[Video] The Foreign Exchange Performing Live In Charlotte
This weekend, I had the pleasure of seeing The Foreign Exchange live during their stop at Charlotte's Neighborhood Theatre. It was MINDBLOWING. Everything was incredible--the band, the background singers, and of course Phonte & Nicolay. I only paid $20 for the ticket, but it was like I experienced what I would if I went dancing, went to a comedy show, and went to a concert simultaneously.
If you love good music and you just want to have a great time, I encourage you to check out The Foreign Exchange tour schedule and catch them at a city near you.
Watch below as they perform my favorite Foreign Exchange track, "Daykeeper." from their 2008 album Leave It All Behind.
Hit the jump to see them performing "House of Cards"!
Next Up: Childish Gambino (Donald Glover)
I was first introduced to Childish Gambino when one of my Twitter followers said that my blog's name reminded her of him. What I didn't know, until then, was that Childish Gambino and actor Donald Glover, star of the hit NBC show, Community, were the same person.
Before you automatically associate him with Nick Cannon, Drake and other actors turned rappers, let his music influence you first. His lyricism is top notch, and the man's got BARS. Watch below as he performs a brand new track that will be on his upcoming album Camp.
Late Pass: Download The Childish Gambino EP, his latest studio album which he dropped for free back in March.
Previously: New Music: J. Cole - Who Dat (Pt. 2) f/ Childish Gambino & SD
Props to my homie Chizom of RNR who put me on!

Thank You YouTube For...Dormtainment
YouTube is full of comedy sketches that always leave me thinking, "Stay in school," or "Keep your day job." Dormtainment, however, is a diamond in the rough, and always keeps me laughing. The collective of these six college educated men recently posted "Basketball Husbands," their parody to the many reality shows devoted to women who seem to have nothing else to do but start fights and spend money.
Watch the hilarious sketch above, and be sure to check out Dormtainment's entire catalogue on www.dormtainment.com. Also follow the group on Twitter!
