New Music: Cam'ron & Juelz Santana - Ima Dip

Nice to see the Dipset leaders back doing music together.  I was relying on Affion Crockett for my Cam'ron-esque and Jim Jones lines.  Check out their remix to Meek Mill's "Ima Boss" below:

Producer S1 Tells The Story of Excellence

If you haven't heard an S1 produced track, think again.  The hit producer made his way up in the game from producing for Little Brother and other associated acts to producing chart toppers for Kanye West & Beyonce.  Most recently, Symbolic One produced the "Excellence" portion to Jay-Z & Kanye's Watch the Throne track "Murder To Excellence.  Watch below as he explains the journey behind the incredible song.

New Music: Domo Genesis - Benediction

Domo Genesis and some more of his Odd Future homies stopped by Shade 45 and dropped off his new track called "Benediction."  I see all the time on the Internet that people think OFWGKTA can't really rap and that all they rely on is shock value.  "Benediction" completely disproves this theory as he rhymes over Mobb Deep's "Hell On Earth."

New Music Video: Sean Paul - Got 2 Love U f/ Alexis Jordan

I'm posting this because maybe you've been worried about Sean Paul. The last I heard he was out wih Sean Parker still rallying to legalize marijuana. Okay, I made that up... See how quickly rumors spread?

It seems that Sean Paul is still making music and he's traded his outdated hairstyle for...another outdated hairstyle.  He's recruited Roc Nation singer Alexis Jordan for his latest track "Got 2 Luv U" and I'm guessing the aim is to get worldwide appeal once again. Watch the video below:

Allindstrom & The Source Discuss Tha Carter IV

I've already explained my displeasure of Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV, but I always love to hear everyone's arguments about the album.  Watch above as Al Lindstrom and The Source present a round table who discuss the album's success, rumors, and their true opinions on the album.

New Music: N.O.R.E. - Electrolytes (Remix) f/ DMX & Macy Gray

Recently freed DMX has been added to the N.O.R.E. come back single "Electrolytes" with Macy Gray.  I love that they're still putting out music and it still sounds like they're being true to their styles without sounding outdated. Check out the remix below:

TiRon & Ayomari: Behind The Scenes of "A Sucker For Pumps"

TiRon & Ayomari's A Sucker For Pumps dropped two days ago on Sept. 13.  So far, I've copped it and listened to it at least 3 times. I love it. If you need more convincing, check out the electronic press kit which takes you behind the scenes of the making of this great album.

New Music: Trey Songz - Whoever Else/If I Could

In typical Trey Songz fashion, we get both the boastful Trigga and the softer Trey all on one track.  I won't be blasting the first half of the song because I'm tired of hearing rappers following Weezy's "I walk around the club...F**k errybody" theme without a glimpse of intelligence behind it.  I do, however, appreciate the shift in the track when he sings about it over a melodic instrumental.
