New Music Video: Musiq Soulchild - Yes

Musiq Soulchild always knows how to make a video that makes my sensitive a*s cry.  In the music video to "Yes," Musiq stands by his girlfriend (portrayed by Jasmine Burke) after learning that she has breast cancer.  Watch further as Musiq, the real life ambassador for Susan G. Komen for the Cure Circle of Promise, takes things a step further and walks down the aisle. Gotta love music with a message.

Ryshon Jones: Friday (FreEP)

I thought it would be a slow Sunday, but thankfully this weekend has brought some new material for me to listen through. The undisputed standout is Philly rapper Ryshon Jones' Friday. This FreEP is the incredibly well executed story of a young man who made a mistake and dumped his girlfriend after cheating, ran into the arms of his female best friend, killed his former best friend, and tries to get his first girlfriend back.   Download below as Ryshon spits over some revamped instrumentals from The Weeknd's Thursday album.
