Super Market Knife Attack 2011 [New Mixtape]

SMKA was hard at work in 2011, producing for practically every dope artist in Hip Hop that set foot in Atlanta.  Of the many songs they produced, they narrowed their list of favorites down to 11, which include tracks by Freddie Gibbs, Fashawn, STS, Phil Adé, The Kid Daytona, Aleon Craft and more!

JR&PH7 x Brokn.Englsh x St. Joe Louis - My Favourite Demons [FreEP]

After releasing The Standard and The Update, two critically acclaimed albums, European Hip Hop production duo JR&PH7 have joined forces with New Jersey groups Brokn. Englsh and St. Joe Louis for their third project, My Favourite Demons.  Brokn.English (consisting of Myk Dyaleks, Clon Burris, and Lyriq2Go) has garnered heavy underground attention thanks to their "soulful and intricate lyricism paired with tons of charisma,"  while St. Joe Louis's three emcees Elite Wright, Tommie Chase, and Michael Cardigan are best known for their "candid approach and transparent delivery."

Combined, they're the epitome of what Hip Hop is desperate for, and they prove that on the title track to the My Favourite Demons EP.  Check out "My Favourite Demons" below, and hit the jump to stream the entire project!

Little Dragon Perform "Shuffle A Dream" Live For The Guardian [VIDEO]

I've been mildly obsessed with Little Dragon ever since a friend put me on a few months ago.  When I tell you I'd put all my chips on this Swedish band in a musical showdown, I mean that.  With Kimiko's soulful voice and the band's futuristic vibe, creating amazing music is what it's all about for them.

Check out their Guardian live performance of the single "Shuffle A Dream," which comes from their latest album Ritual Union, below, and be amazed!

Hodgy Beats - BLKN [Prod. by Thelonius Martin]

Hodgy admits that he doesn't like working with producers other than his parter Left Brain, but he's making an exception for Thelonius Martin, one of the few that he respects.  Check out "BLKN," their collaboration that's strictly for the herbophiles below, and let me know what you think!

Got Beef? The Weeknd Has Drake's Back

Uh oh! Looks like The Weeknd has inserted himself into his first rap beef! The Toronto crooner took to Twitter yesterday after Common released his "Stay Schemin'" remix dissing Drake with no sort of remorse saying:
I personally think it was a great diss track (although I'm not too sure why Common's putting so much energy into this anyway), but I understand that the Weeknd's just taking up for his homie.

Lil Twist - Turnt Up feat. Busta Rhymes [Music Video]

I remember making a joke when Busta Rhymes signed to Young Money saying,  "Oh, so now Busta's gonna be in the studio making songs with Lil Twist and Jay Sean now?" Well.... half of that's true because he's featured in Lil Twist's new single "Turnt Up." Watch the music video to the Get Twisted XXL Freshman of 2011 and let me know what you think of his new song with Busta by hitting me up on Facebook and Twitter!

YG & Nipsey Hussle - The Motto (Remix) [Music Video]

Since everybody and their mamas recorded verses to "The Motto," it's only right that YGNipsey Hussle, who actually appeared on the official remix to the track, make a music video for it.  Watch the Cali spitters out living life to the fullest in the visuals to "The Motto" remix (minus Snoop).
