MTV Crowns Rick Ross As The #1 Hottest MC [VIDEO]

How did we even get here? After a week of controversial, and in my opinion, terrible selections, Rick Ross was crowned MTV's #1 Hottest MC in the game.  Last night on an MTV2 televised special, they announced the top 5, which included Drake at #2, Kanye West at #3, Nicki Minaj at #4 and Lil Wayne at #5.

I definitely respect Rick Ross and I think he deserves a top spot on the list, but I think that Kanye West should have been number 1. He brought back the weekly installment back to Hip Hop with Good Fridays, released an amazing album in My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and changed the game with Jay-Z on Watch The Throne.

Watch the "Brain Trust" debate between Drake and Rozay for the top spot, and hit the jump to view MTV's full list and deliberation for #3-5.

Nicki Minaj - Dirty Money [Unreleased Video]

If you're looking for a gimmick-free Nicki Minaj, it seems that there's no where else to look but the past. Some previously unreleased footage of a young, grittier Minaj just surfaced, which showcase the female emcee rhyming over Terror Squad's 2004 track "Yeah Yeah Yeah" right before busting out a few minutes worth of acapellas. Crazy seeing how much the Young Money rapper has evolved, but that's just how the game goes.

Estelle - Thank You (Remix) ft. Busta Rhymes

Busta Rhymes steps away from his signature quick-spitting flow and gives Estelle an introspective verse that matches the emotional intensity of the Akon-penned single "Thank You." I hope this version can make the album.

Daley - Alone Together ft. Marsha Ambrosius [Music Video]

If it weren't for the Marsha Ambrosius feature I would have slept on Daley's new project Those Who Wait. I've officially learned my lesson and I am excited to introduce the British singer to G.U.E. with his music video to "Alone Together." Loving the soul coming from the UK these days!
