Yasiin Bey - "I Don't Like"

While I would've added "Love Sosa" line to this myself, Yasiin dives a little deeper to his "These Are A Few Of My [Least] Favorite Things" list as he takes on Chief Keef's banger "I Don't Like" produced by Young Chop.

Expect Bey, formerly known as Mos Def to continue taking on the hits as he presents his Top 40 Underdog Series.

Ryshon Jones - "White Lines" [Music Video]

My favorite Philly emcee Ryshon Jones is taking his time preparing his new mixtape In Theory, but he's let another visual out of the Basqui vault while we wait patiently.
We shot this video back in May off of the Basqui tape, figure we show the people already. Directed by Last Rights x Elephants Purple the video is a metaphor of me killing a memory, but still trying to recapture the feeling of a love lost. The new project In Theory is on the way the new date will be announced soon after we release the next song from the project as well as the In Theory documentary. Thanks for the support - Ryshon

T.I. ft. André 3000 & Stacy Barthe - "Sorry"

With Trouble Man only a few weeks away, it's safe to say that T.I.P. finally has momentum shifted in his favor, with "Ball" doing numbers on the radio as well as the motivational "Go Get It."

Yesterday, he revealed the track the hip hop heads have been waiting for: "Sorry" featuring Andre 3000. T.I. drops some nice sixteens over the Jazze Pha production laced with Stacy Barthe's vocals, but it's no surprise who took the spotlight on this one. Hear 3 Stacks' apology to Big Boi below, and be sure to cop Trouble Man when it drops December 16th.

Quent Young - "Laid Back EP"

Since G.U.E. is officially back and ready to takeover the world once again, what better way to start off than with a site favorite?

In conjunction with The Port and Sophisticated Genius, NC's own Quent Young presents his latest EP titled Laid Back.
I believe that with this mixtape I stayed true to my "Laid Back" demeanor, with a soulful mix of samples and introspective lyrics I combine real life situations both good and bad with stories that everyone can relate too. I feel that with the EP I made music that is very cohesive yet not repetitive, as each track has its own feel and emotions to it. The EP is set up so that it starts with more of a light hearted feel but the further you get into the tape the more personal the music becomes and eventually brightens back up towards the end. This is done intentionally so that the listener can feel as though their growing with me thoughout the EP.
