Frank Ocean had quite the showing for his first Grammys as he took home 2 awards--Best Urban Contemporary Album for his debut Channel Orange and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for his part on Watch The Throne's "No Church In The Wild."
Watch below as he performs "Forrest Gump," one of the more controversial tracks on Channel Orange, and hit the comments with your thoughts on the performance!
Rihanna not only looked great when performing Unapologetic favorite "Stay" with Mikky Ekko at last night's Grammy Awards. She sounded great. Listen for yourself below, and click HERE to watch her pay tribute to Bob Marley along with Bruno Mars, Damien Marley, Ziggy Marley and more.
Before announcing the winner of Best Country Solo Performance, Miguel and Wiz Khalifa brought love into the aisles with a quick performance of "Adorn." Congrats to Miguel who took home Best R&B Song for the hit single!
Bruno Mars and his band sure know how to put on a show. Thankfully, his stage presence and voice were put to great use at the Grammys last night as he paid tribute to musical icon Bob Marley along with Sting, Ziggy Marley, Rihanna and Damien Marley. This was definitely my favorite performance of the night, and it looks like the crowd enjoyed it more than anything. Rest in paradise, Mr. Marley!
Justin Timberlake wasn't eligible for any awards at last night's 55th Annual Grammy Awards, but he was one of the ceremony's biggest winners. After performing his new hit "Suit & Tie" with Jay-Z and debuting his follow up "Pusher Love Girl," it was clear how refreshing his return to the music world truly is.
Watch below as he puts on a well rounded show, and hit the comments with your thoughts on his performance!
This video dropped before Drake took home the Grammy for Rap Album of the Year, but the honor makes "Started From The Bottom" even more fitting. "HYFR" was a pretty hilarious video, but this may take the cake as Drake gets upgraded from a stockboy to night manager to superstar while bringing his friends up with him.
There's way too much fine in this video for my eyes to handle. And to make things more difficult, Larenz Tate was behind the camera directing the action in Melanie Fiona's latest video for "Wrong Side Of A Love Song."
Watch below as she reflects on a love lost, and hit the jump to view the amount of chemistry Melanie and her on screen beau Omari Hardwick had while shooting. The MF Life is in stores now!
When someone's had a career as fruitful as Nasir Jones has, it goes without saying that he should have more than a few Grammys under his belt. To the horror of many hip hop fans (myself included), Nas boasts 0, despite being nominated a whopping 9 times.
Immediately I wondered, who took home the golden award? Were the victors the rap reincarnation of Milli Vanilli, or were they deserving opponents? Take a look at Nas' Grammy snubs over the years, and wish him luck as he's nominated for 3 awards tonight thanks to the commercial and critical success of Life Is Good.
