Ray J ft. Bobby Brackins - "I Hit It First"

What's a Saturday without good laughs and f*ckery?

Ray J completely dominated Twitter on Friday when he revealed the cover for his new single "I Hit It First," donning a pixelated image of his ex Kim Kardashian. Messy!

While the single artwork is foolish enough, the accompanying track is ten times worse. Despite the fact that the beat sounds like a 2002 album bonus track from 3LW, the real focal point lies in the single's lyrics.

Gems like the hook's opening line "She might move on the rappers and ballplayers..,"the bridge's "If you were to come back to me we'll make another movie," and the repetitive crooning of "I put her on" in R. Kelly "Feelin' On Yo Booty" fashion to close out the record, are what makes life worth fighting another day.

Stream "I Hit It First" below, and hit the comments with your thoughts on the Ray J soon to be platinum banger.

Big Sean ft. Common - "Switch Up"

"Guap" was a nice single to test the waters, but now Big Sean is ready to promote his sophomore album Hall Of Fame in full force. Joining him on the project's second single is his G.O.O.D. Music brother Common, who raps over something different on "Switch Up."

Stream the joint production between Million $ Mano, No I.D. and Rob Kinelski and head to iTunes at midnight if you want to download "Switch Up."

Jarren Benton - "Razor Blades And Steak Knives"

Dopest album cover of the year so far? I'd say so.
If you've heard Freebasing With Kevin Bacon and Huffing Glue With Hasselhoff, you know that Funk Volume emcee Jarren Benton is known for pushing the lyrical envelope. Thankfully, he's been compiling some more off the wall bars for his upcoming album My Grandma's Basement, set to drop this June.

Stream the project's lead single "Razor Blades and Steak Knives" below, and support the Atlanta rapper's movement by downloading the track from iTunes.

[Music Video] Two9 - "Where The Money At?"

Easily the best new track from Mike WiLL Made It's Est. In 1989 (Part 2.5) mixtape, Atlanta collective Two-9 drop the visuals to "Where The Money At?," a track that's bound to have you destroying your cubicle and putting in your 2 weeks notice.

As an intro to the actual record, Two9's Curtis Williams speaks on the group's comparisons to Wu Tang and elaborates more on what the collective's movement is all about.

[EP Stream] Sean Falyon - 'December'

While we're on the topic of New Atlanta today, I can't leave out hustler extraordinaire Sean Falyon. The Philly bred emcee just released his 8 track EP December, which features Miloh Smith, Indiana Rome, Brandon Rossi, Jack Freeman, and even an appearance from his Mom who tells the bearded emcee to get his act together.

Stream the entire project exclusively at SPIN.com, and click HERE to show Sean Falyon some love by copping December on iTunes.

Usually more of a concept man, Ryshon Jones uses Thelonius Martin's production on "Lunch Table II" to go into battle emcee mode. Stream the track below, which also features fiery verses from fellow Philly emcee Matt Ford and Durham's own Thee Tom Hardy.

Scotty ft. Trinidad Jame$ - "Conversations On That Brown"

Scotty's been a force in Atlanta for quite some time, but thanks to an impressive showing at SXSW's #NewAtlanta showcase and a headlining tour, the rapper is bound to take on bigger and better things in 2013.

Debuting the artwork for his upcoming project F.A.I.T.H. (Foreva Atlanta In The Heart) with DJ Burn One, he also drops the project's first reveal, "Conversations On That Brown" with fellow New Atlanta representative Trinidad Jame$.

[Free LP] Jarell Perry - 'Simple Things'

Every blue moon, I get an e-mail in my inbox that I call hidden treasure. Amidst the many struggle submissions, I was sent Jarell Perry's Simple Things EP which I haven't been able to stop listening to since I hit play.

You may remember the California singer-songwriter from his collaboration with Thurz on "Keep Livin" or recognize him from his extremely popular YouTube covers.  If not, you're bound to know the name Jarell Perry soon, and you should start with the EP which features the standouts "Awkward" and "Whiskey A Go Go." R&B is in a great place these days, and if Simple Things is any indication, Jarell Perry is in it for the longhaul.
