Dom Kennedy - "Dominic" + [Tracklist] 'Get Home Safely'
On October 15th, Cali slick talker Dom Kennedy will release his album Get Home Safely on iTunes as well as at Best Buy stores nationwide. Dom's got quite the repertoire, so the fact that he considers GSH is best body of work means that the Yellow Album followup should be well worth the coins.

[Album Stream] Pusha T - 'My Name Is My Name' + [Music Video] "Nosetalgia" ft. Kendrick Lamar
Backed by the ever-passionate Kanye West, Pusha T's solo debut album My Name Is My Name will finally be upon us tomorrow, October 8th. Despite King Push claiming that his rival Drake is no competition, I have no doubt that his rival's Nothing Was The Same will be a major point of reference for most when critiquing MNIMN.

[Music Video] John Legend - "All Of Me"
John Legend's new album Love In The Future has proven itself to be one of my most valuable purchases this year. While the project is near and dear to my heart, I can only imagine what it means to Mr. Legend and his beautiful wife Chrissy Teigen.
"All Of Me" was written entirely by John as a tribute to Chrissy, and after performing the song at his own wedding, John brings us into their world with the visuals to the timeless standout. Watch the intimate music video below and click HERE to purchase Love In The Future now on iTunes.

Justin Timberlake - "TKO"
Led by "Take Back The Night," Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 is set to hit iTunes September 30. It's safe to say that this album release doesn't quite have the momentum of its "Suit & Tie" predecessor, but maybe the Timbaland produced "TKO" will change that. Take a listen below, and let me know what you think!

[VIDEO] Janelle Monae Talks 'The Electric Lady,' Prince, Love & More With The Breakfast Club
While out on a promo tour for her new (INCREDIBLE!) album The Electric Lady, Janelle Monae stopped by the always candid Breakfast Club. Watch below as Charlemagne fawns over her while she discussed her relationship with Prince, the premise behind Cindi Mayweather, her business partnership with Diddy, as well as her upbringing.
Congrats to Janelle and the rest of Wondaland on yet another inspiring work of art!

[Music Video] Solange Knowles - "Lovers In The Parking Lot"
Never in my 24 years did I think I'll ever see Bun B doing choreography with Solange. That alone (plus Mannie Fresh's cameo) is enough to make you press play, but the fact that "Lovers In The Parking Lot" is a great song with a fun and extremely random visual is the real kicker. Laundromats, semi-abandoned malls, beauty supply stores... what's next, Solange?
The True EP is in stores now!

[Music Video] J. Cole - "Crooked Smile"
The video for "Power Trip" set the tone for J. Cole to take an abstract approach with each of the visuals from Born Sinner, and "Crooked Smile" is no exception. Dedicated to Aiyana Stanley-Jones, the 7 year old who was killed in a Detroit drug raid in 2010, Cole urges the country to reconsider its war on drugs.

Drake - 'Nothing Was The Same'
After a season of ups and downs--beginning with more than impressive opening sales for J. Cole (297k), Kanye (327k), Jay-Z (Platinum), and Wale (152k) and ending with very lackluster openings for 2 Chainz (55-65k projected), Big Sean (72k), and Juicy J (64k)-- summer is officially coming to an end.
While things have been looking surprisingly dreary lately, the new season brings a new hope that Hip Hop will hit another high. With Drake's Nothing Was The Same is set for release on September 24th, odds are pretty great that hip hop will dominate Billboard yet again.
Boasting hit singles "Hold On We're Going Home" and "Started From The Bottom," along with highly controversial "Wu Tang Forever," Nothing Was The Same seems to have the makings of another polarizing yet Grammy award winning project.
Update: Now that the album's in stores, hit the comments with your thoughts on NWTS!
